DEPOSITS

To reserve a labrador retriever puppy from a current or upcoming litter, the deposit is $250.00, which goes towards the purchase price.  The pick order is determined by the order each deposit is received. 

The picks for the labrador retriever puppies are made between the 5th and 6th week of age and can be done by photographs seen online or sent via email.  Deposits are non-refundable unless if at the time to pick a puppy the desired sex requested with your deposit is not available, you can choose a labrador puppy of the opposite sex, if one is available, your deposit can be rolled over to a future litter, or you can receive a refund since it's out of both of our control how many of each sex are born.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Deposits and payments can be paid online by Credit/Debit Card or through your PayPal account.  We only accept personal checks for the deposit and they are to be made out to and mailed to:  Alan Christensen / P.O. Box 233 / Carbondale, Illinois 62903.  We do not accept personal checks for the balance due.  See Online Payments below.

PICK  UP

We can arrange to meet for Midwest puppy delivery in Marion, Illinois or in Cape Girardeau or Perryville, Missouri.  Our buyers come from all over the United States, including Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, California, Nevada, Kansas, to name a few of the states.

SHIPPING

We ship mainly through American Airlines, though other airlines can be arranged.  Shipping costs have gone up due to the cost of fuel.  Airfare through American or Delta usually costs around 265, plus there is the cost of the travel crate and the veterinarian visit for the travel health certificate.  Regular cost for airline expense, a new travel and training crate, the required veterinary checkup and certificate is $325.00.

The price of a Bullis Lake Labrador is $1,000.00 for either male or female with Limited AKC Registration.

We may agree to sell Full Registration only under certain circumstances after discussion with the buyer and at a significantly higher price.  See below for an explanation of the difference in Limited and Full AKC Registration and Bullis Lake's policy. 

All labrador retriever puppies will have their first set of shots, be dewormed several times and be well socialized with people and other dogs while at Bullis Lake.  Also, check out our guarantee page for further information.

ONLINE  PAYMENTS

There is a 3% fee associated with Online Payments, however, by using this method we receive your payment quicker, and the puppy pick order is determined by the order payment is received.  Click the appropriate "Add to Cart" button below and it will take you to a view cart page.  If your shopping cart has the item(s) in it you want to purchase, then click the "Proceed to Checkout" button in the bottom right of that page.  On the next page you then choose whether to pay with your credit card or with your PayPal account.  You do not need a PayPal account to pay with your credit card.

        Deposit on Lab Puppy ($250.00 + Fee = $258.00)

        Balance on Lab Puppy with Limited Registration ($750.00 + Fee = $774.00)

LIMITED versus FULL REGISTRATION

The American Kennel Club has two ways of registering AKC puppies.  One way is with full registration and the other is with limited registration.  The difference is so responsible Breeders can protect their genetic line and control which of their puppies are able to be bred.  Either way, the puppies will have official AKC registration papers.  Limited registration is fine for people wanting a family pet who do not wish to show or breed their dogs. The dogs are still valuable members of the AKC. 

AKC Limited Registration -  Dog can participate in licensed breed events such as Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility and Earth Dog, but is ineligible to participate in an AKC licensed breed competition or member dog show (beauty show).  No puppies produced by a dog with Limited Registration shall be eligible for AKC registration.

AKC Full Registration -  Dog may participate in any AKC sponsored event.  Puppies produced by two dogs fully registered with the AKC are eligible for AKC registration.

As with many quality breeders, it is Bullis Lake's policy that anyone purchasing a full registration puppy must have "Bullis Lake's" as the first two words of the dog's AKC Registered name.  If you look at Autumn's pedigree,  almost always the first name of her ancestral dogs is the name of a breeder.  "Bullis Lake's" will already be filled in on the AKC Registration form when you receive it with your full registration puppy.  This just indicates the dog was bred at Bullis Lake Labradors.
